CED at IIBM Patna, in collaboration with ZHI Patna, hosted a riveting Chess Competition on February 3rd, 2024. The event drew 25 participants who competed in both rapid and classic modes.

Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) A K Nayak Sir inaugurated the competition, sharing insightful anecdotes from chess history. The tournament intensified in the semifinals, culminating in a fierce showdown among finalists.

Atul from BCA 2026 emerged victorious, securing 1st prize, with Samresh from BBA 2026 claiming 2nd place and Noor Alam from BCA 2026 earning 3rd. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as strategic brilliance unfolded on the board, fostering camaraderie among participants and enthusiasts alike.
